EINS Analytics

The answer to many problems is usually a combination of tools, processes, competence, and even culture.

Sprung out of the SAP BW domain we have worked, and are still working, with some of the biggest and complex customers. Today we are working across the whole analytics domain helping our customers to use analytics to drive their businesses.

We are not restricted to any platform or technology, but we have a portfolio of tools we promote, and which fits into our EINS Analytics Philosophy.

Apart from Solution Architecture we also offer expertise within the very interesting topics below:

Our Analytics Philosophy

Evolution – the constant change

  • Always have a plan but don’t mind changing it
  • Evolutionary processes where mistakes are small and gains are frequent
  • Open systems, best-of-breed – natural selection

  • Optimal sized and autonomous units – eliminate dependencies

  • Contribution of the many rather than the few

  • What is hidden will not be challenged nor changed
End-user satisfaction
End users don’t care so much about anything than what you bring to the surface (front-end) and nor should they. Typically, they complain about performance, accuracy, poorly crafted reports, long lead times (time-to-market), hard-to-use and inflexible tools and so on. Time for end-user peace? Why this is on top our list of topics is because it is the most important one.

Leverage your operations
More money is being spent but the outcome does not follow? Do you feel that time-to-market for development projects is too long, or that even simple development requirements are complex to process?

You may not need to start from scratch uplifting your ability to execute, but start by understanding your current assets (e.g. data, tools, competences), and how those could be used more efficiently. Start the journey by moving the little rocks before the big boulders.

Platform capability and future-proofing the analytical landscape
Many organizations are facing ever growing data volumes and are soon, if not already, in a situation where their system landscapes no longer can perform. Doing it the same old way sometimes require huge upfront investments and those decisions are not easy to get through. There are alternatives.

We know that keeping analytics architecture in control may be challenging task as it involves multiple different business processes and systems, decision makers and even organizations. Data Lakes, cloud based BI / analytics, performance layers, advanced analytics, self-service could be things you are currently working with. If so, we can help driving these initiatives and if you are not, maybe you would like to know more.

Processes, governance and organization
Many are stuck with waterfall development processes (applying agile terminology on your waterfall processes won’t do it), thinking about DevOps or how to organize the governance of their analytical solutions. How do you act locally but think globally?

Lack of clarity around definitions, data ownership, responsibilities, security and so on, are also typical problems. We have experience in how to deal with these kinds of problems.

Data driven organization
What does a data driven organization mean and to what extent is it reasonable to be data driven? You don’t become a data driven organization over a night but setting the right conditions for it is a good start. Making data available, competence and tools are basic matters you need to address. Expand your business through Analytics
Big Data, Advanced or Predictive Analytics are common buzz words but very few truly understands how to apply these things in an organization. We don’t claim we know all about it either, but we know how to get you started. It is indeed a powerful tool for finding new opportunities.
